Feature Film and Television

In 2001, Joseph established ContiFilms. His vision was to create a one-stop-shop for film production utilizing his broad range of experience in cinematography, writing, production, computer animation and visual effects to deliver first rate, low-cost production services for all media disciplines. Shortly after its inception, he was commissioned by Universal Studios and the Sci-Fi Channel to create and direct his first movie, BUGS. It was the highest rated of eight movies produced in the series. He has just delivered his second feature film Army of the Dead and beginning his third film Blue Horizon, both a mix of Action/Adventure and Sci Fi.

Joseph began his career at the University of Bridgeport where he earned a BFA in Motion Picture Cinematography. He went on to gain an in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of motion picture and television production and writing through years of hands-on experience in a broad range of capacities. His special effects wizardry can be seen in feature films (Men in Black, Courage Under Fire, Black Hawk Down, The Siege, Stewart Little, House on Haunted Hill), television (Steven Spielberg's seaQuest DSV, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The X-Files, The Legendary Journeys of Hercules).

Contifilms excels at making low budget look not only good, but great! By utilizing our creative skills as director, art director and producer we were able to make our first movie "BUGS" look many times its cost, one of the reasons for it's high rating over the other movies in the series.

We are currently looking to partnership with various studios and distributors who are looking for an alternative to the high costs of production and yet are seeking to maintain quality production values. We at ContiFilms are a great solution.
